VOID LLC was founded in 2025 with the intention of giving a home to our documentary, narrative, and artistic endeavors. Our mission is to connect with others on a personal level with the intention of sharing a sense of presence through visual and sonic mediums, while simultaneously expanding our own horizons. Within the void, we find ourselves.
Hallie Harper
Co-Owner
Hallie Harper is a filmmaker and artist from Whidbey Island, WA. They co-own a small production company, VOID, where they create documentary and narrative film work. Hallie has worked on a variety of projects ranging from documentaries to experimental short films, with a primary focus on documentaries surrounding social justice topics. Hallie recently graduated with an MFA in Documentary Production and Studies from University of North Texas, and is a 2021 alum from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA where they received a BA in Communication.
Lisbeth
Co-Owner
Rio Grande Valley native filmmaker, Dylan Lisbeth Hensley, specializes in experimental documentaries that embody the importance of community, and social relationships with the environment. Additionally, their work spans to narrative films and musical compositions embedded with magical realism, whimsy, and earnest reflections on nostalgia. They are an MFA Graduate with a terminal degree in Documentary Production from the University of North Texas, with a BA in Media Arts and Minor in Anthropology. As co-owner of VOID, they make films that explore identity, and self-discovery, with the RGV borderlands always in their heart.
